Why does God allow suffering? Pain. Loss. Tears. If God is good, why does life hurt so much?

This question is not a lack of faith. It’s a cry of an honest heart. The Bible is filled with people who asked God why.

We live in a world that is fallen — not finished. Sickness, loss, and disasters are signs of brokenness, not God’s cruelty.

God gave humans freedom. Freedom to love. Freedom to choose. But freedom also allows pain caused by human choices.

God does not enjoy suffering. But He can use it to grow us. Pain can shape faith, character, and compassion.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted.” God does not leave you in pain. He walks with you through it.

Jesus suffered. He was rejected, beaten, and crucified. God did not avoid suffering — He entered it.

The cross proves: God allows suffering, but He also redeems it. Pain is not the end of the story.

Some pain has no explanation. Faith means trusting God even in silence. God’s presence matters more than answers.

This life is temporary. The Bible promises a day with no tears, no pain, and no death.

If you’re hurting right now: God sees you. God loves you. And your pain is not meaningless.

Why does God allow suffering? Because this world is broken — but God is restoring it. And He is not done with you yet.

What hurts now will make sense one day. Until then, God walks with you. You are not alone.
